Thousands of Nepali students choose the India as the study destination. Indian government, Indian university and many other scholarship fonding organization provide the scholarship for Nepali student every year. More than three thousand scholarships/seats are provided every year by the government of India though the Indian Embassy (which is located on Kathmandu ) to Nepali students. They provide scholarships for various courses at all level starting from school level to PHD ( Ph.D/ Masters, bachelor , plus-two or diploma, school level) . Indian Embassy provide scholarship in India as well as Nepal. 1. COMPLEX Scholarships in India

Under this scholarship the Embassy of India provided the scholarship for the students who want to study undergraduate course in India. This scholarship include the MBBS, Engineering, pharmacy, Agriculture, Dairy Technology, veterinary science , animal Husbandry, B.sc Nursing etc. These scholarships are available in only Indian Universities and Institutions.

To study MBBS in India you should get at least 60% in aggregate of 11 and 12 and 50% in engilsh and more than or equal to 60 % in each subject including Physics, chemistry and Biology in +2 or diploma or equivalent.

To study BE you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 60 % in each subject includes physics, chemistry and mathematics in +2 or equivalent.

To study B.sc (Ag) you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 55% in each subject includes physics, chemistry and biology in +2 or equivalent.

To study Bvsc & AH you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 55% in each subject includes physics, chemistry and biology in +2 or equivalent.

To study B.Pharmacy you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 55 % in each subject includes physics, chemistry and biology in +2 or equivalent.

To study B.sc(DT) you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 55 % in each subject includes physics, chemistry and mathematics in +2 or equivalent.

To study B.Sc (Nursing) you need to get 60 % or equivalent in aggregate and at least 50% in English in 11 and 12 and more than or equal to 55 % in each subject includes physics, chemistry and biology in +2 or equivalent.

Note: For this undergraduate course scholarship candidates should be between 17 to 22 years of age.

2. AYUSH Scholarship

This scholarship provide the admission to Undergraduate and post Graduate course in Medicines in Indian Institutions and University. For undergraduate course candidates must passed the +2 or equivalent with 60 % and minimum 50 % in English. The candidate should be between the age of 17 to 22 but for post graduated course candidate should not be above 30 years. And candidate should have pass the graduation level examination in the recognized system of medicine.

3. General Scholarship Scheme

Under this scholarship they provide admission to under graduate course including BBA, BCA, BA , B.sc, B.com and many more. For this scholarship applicant should have pass the +2 or equivalent examination with compatible subject in class 12 and should get minimum 60 % in aggregate as well as in English. The age of applicant should above the 21.

4. SAARC Scholarship Scheme

Under this scheme they provide scholarships for in student in the field of Hospitality and Hotel management course in Indian institutions. For this scholarships applicant should have pass +2 or equivalent with 60% or above and also in English.

5. SJSS scholarships scheme:

Under this scholarship they provide scholarships for Nepali students for MBA, MA, MCA, M.Sc, and Ph.D. for this scholarship candidates should be graduated with minimum 60 % in aggregate at the bachelor level from recognized university and must less than 30 years in age. For Ph.D course candidate must graduate with academic record of minimum 60 % in aggregate from recognized university or institutions and also men should not above the age of 35 and women should not above age of 45. After entrance exam short-listed candidates will called for interview and selection will be based on the candidates academic record and performance in interview.
